Operations Officer Position

Sales Automation Support, Inc. (SAS) is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business incorporated in 2002 and is currently seeking an Operations Officer. www.salesautomationsupport.com

The right person for this job will be a high-performing former military Warrant or Commissioned Officer who has held S2 / S3 or Contracting Officer assignments while in the service, and very importantly, really enjoyed those assignments. Especially those elements of the referenced positions involved in detailed planning and the production of analysis and operational products (briefings, ops orders, etc.).

Officers who were previously assigned to USACE, NAVFAC or DLA are desirable, however, officers with combat arms or aviation assignments are also highly encouraged to apply. In terms of expected level of experience mapping to military pay grades and initial compensation, the optimal range is W2-W3 / O3-O4, however, more senior grades will also be considered.

This position will report directly to SAS’s CEO and Founder and will work closely with our President and our Vice President of Administration.

SAS is a unique business focused on supporting our clients who are Federal and State prime contractors across a wide range of industries including: Construction, Utilities, Security Services, Engineering, Building Operations & Management, Transit Automation, Logistics, and various administrative service providers.

The company is headquartered in Pewaukee, WI. The Operations Officer will work from HQ, with some periodic, but not extensive travel required (CONUS).

SAS manages multiple client projects simultaneously that involve the development of specific operational approaches for specific contract opportunities. At the same time, we provide the expertise and writing services to prepare all operational plans for each given Federal or State Contract opportunity.

The environment is fast paced and requires detailed daily coordination of efforts and operations oversight – This will be the primary focus of the Operations Officer’s duties along with responsibility for systemizing and controlling all Operational Management practices and systems for the Company.

The Company’s clients range from small businesses to the Fortune 100, including a number of companies whose names you will recognize immediately. In all cases, SAS’s direct customers in each of our clients’ organizations is the senior executive team.

Over the past 20 years we have been instrumental in helping our clients win billions in Federal contract awards. This includes recently a 50-year contract for the City of San Antonio and CPS Energy to privatize the electric and natural gas utilities at Joint Base San Antonio as just one example.
